I call this my magic balm!


As a massage therapist i created this balm to use with my clients and it works wonders!


Made using a range of herbal tinctures, flower essences and essential oils to help relieve pain, bring more blood flow to the area of pain and reduce inflammation. 


The ingredients include arnica which is commonly used in alternative medicine for the treatment of bruising, pain, myalgia (muscle soreness), and arthralgia (joint aches). 


Comfrey acts as an anti-inflammatory to promote healing of bruises and sprains. The roots and leaves of this plant contain the protein allantoin, which stimulates cell proliferation and promote wound and bone healings. Comfrey ensued balms are typically used as a topical herbal remedy for painful muscle and joint conditions, such as low back pain, osteoarthritis, and sprains.


It's also used in alternative medicine for the following problems: Bruises, fractures, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, sprains and strains.


The essential oils of plai (Plai has been used in traditional Thai massage for many years to combat joint and muscle problems and it is more intense that using Ginger oil)


Peppermint contains menthol, which has a cooling effect on sore, achy muscles. It also has analgesic, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory properties.


The flavonoids in clove oil have anti-inflammatory agents, these anti-inflammatory properties will help ease the inflammation and also have a cooling effect. Clove oil can be used to reduce as an excellent pain reliever for muscle pain and joints.


Lavender - It's good for everything!! 


Black pepper offers both anti-inflammatory and pain-reducing effects. According to a study published in Arthritis Research & Therapy, piperine, a compound that gives black pepper its sharp taste, prevents inflammation.



Directions for use

Rub into to the affected area, add a hot water bottle and relax AND go for a massage!


Ingredients

Sunflower infused with arnica oil, comfrey oil, essential oils of plai, ginger, peppermint, clove, lavender and black pepper essential oils and candelilla wax.
